In my recent campaign for Secretary of State, I had the privilege of getting to know many democratic leaders across the state. Few were as inspiring as State Representative Cindy Ryu with her fascinating personal story and unwavering commitment to our progressive values.
Cindy is the only candidate with a proven record of fighting for our progressive values. As a legislator, she’s fought for Metro funding, organized labor, environmental rights, progressive tax policy, and marriage equality (please read her story). I’m confident Cindy will make an excellent councilmember for King County District 1.
